A WATERMAN AND HIS BOAT
TRANSCRIPT

Art Daniels Jr., captain of the skipjack called City of Crisfield sits in his crab shedding house and talks about his boat, the skipjack called City of Crisfield.

CAPTAIN ART DANIELS
I don't know whether you fall in love with a boat or not. You see, the wind in the sails, I guess that's what does it, it makes the boat so it obeys you, whatever you do with that wheel.
CAPTAIN ART DANIELS
(continuing)
And you learn all about it and all of her tricks and every little thing you need to know about it. And that's the way it is with a boat.
CAPTAIN ART DANIELS
(continuing)
And you learn then, like if you get out in the storm and the wind's blowing hard, and you depend on that boat taking care of you. And as long as you don't get afraid or anything like that and you stick with the boat, she'll stand by you most of the time.
